In honour of Khalifa bin Zyed Al Nahyan, President of United Arab Emirates and ruler in Abu Dhabi, the name “Burj Dubai” has been changed into “Burj Khalifa”. The ‘Burj Khlifa’ was designed by Adrian Smith. He is currently working on the “Jeddah Tower” in Saudi Arabia.

Skidmore, Owings & Merrill of Chicago was responsible for the engineering and architecture of this tower. This project’s chief architect is ‘Adrian Smith’ and its chief structural engineer is ‘Bill Baker. Its architecture is Neofuturism.
