Panerai Luminor 1950 Submersible

Panerai Luminor 1950 Submersible

Tomorrow summer begins and we get ready for the sea.

Panerai Luminor 1950 Submersible

And never as in these summer months,

diving watches have a greater market.

Today, therefore,

I present to you the new Panerai divers,

which enrich the tradition of a Manufacture that,

while having its roots in the world of the sea,

does not neglect technological solutions and

innovations such as the variety of materials used for the construction of the divers’ cases. :

from technical materials such as titanium

and AISI 316L stainless steel, to precious materials

such as red gold, suggestive such as

bronze or innovative such as BMG-TECHTM,

an extraordinary metallic glass in terms of resistance to external shocks

and corrosion. Another innovation concerns the movement:

all the new Luminor 1950 Submersible Panerai,

in fact, are powered by the P.9010 caliber,

self-winding with three days of autonomy.

The movement, entirely developed

and produced by the Manufacture in Neuchâtel,

has a date window, the classic small seconds counter at nine o’clock,

the stop mechanism of the balance wheel

and that for the rapid setting of the time, the hand

of which can be moved forward or jerky back,

without interfering with the running of the clock.

A unidirectional rotating bezel with graduated scale for calculating

immersion times is integrated on the Luminor 1950 case,

connected via a special system designed

and patented by Officine Panerai to ensure maximum precision in the shots.

The bridge-shaped Panerai device protects the winding crown

and exerts a slight pressure, helping to guarantee the high water resistance limit

– a standard for these Panerai models – of 300 meters deep (30 bar)

(“only” 100 meters in the red gold model).

The dials are clear and perfectly legible in the dark as well as in the light.watch

Let’s look at them in more detail,

starting with the 47mm Luminor Submersible 1950 BMG-TECHTM 3 Days Automatic.

The secret of this material is not so much in its appearance (similar to that of titanium but of a more intense gray)

as in its atomic structure, which entails a series of very useful benefits for a diving watch:

greater resistance, robustness and lightness.

The BMG-TECHTM – with which the case, bezel,

crown and relative protection device are made – is a metallic glass (Bulk Metallic Glass, BMG),

i.e. a material obtained from a particular glassy alloy by means of a process that

prevents it from being crystallization, i.e. the ordering of atoms into regular geometric structures.

The alloy (composed of Zirconium, Copper, Aluminum,

Titanium and Nickel),

is subjected to a high pressure and high temperature injection process that lasts only a few seconds,

so that the atoms do not have enough time to assume an orderly structure.

and regular, as normally occurs in crystals.

This “chaotic” structure of matter is the secret of its properties – in particular,

greater strength and greater resistance to corrosion,

external shocks, and magnetic fields –

which result in as many benefits for the owner of

a watch capable of deliver excellent performance

and maintain its appearance over time.

The innovative properties of BMG-TECHTM further enrich the offer of a model rich in technical content

and with the unmistakable Panerai identity.

The new watch has a bezel with a graduated scale for calculating diving times,

with unidirectional counterclockwise rotation, the date window at three o’clock

and the seconds counter at nine o’clock.

The clear indications on the blue dial

– with a new glossy finish that generates fascinating reflections –

allow to preserve the absolute ease of reading

and excellent visibility in any light situation and even in the dark, thanks also to the use of two different types of Super-LumiNova® on the indices,

to easily identify the reference points needed to read hours and dive time.

The movement, entirely developed and

manufactured in the Panerai Manufacture of Haute Horlogerie,

is the self-winding caliber P.9010,

with three days of power reserve.

Made up of 200 components and with 31 jewels,

the caliber has a diameter of 133⁄4 lignes and

measures 6 mm in thickness,

which make it possible to keep the thickness of the case reduced.

The balance wheel, fixed by a double support bridge,

oscillates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz)

and is connected to

a stop device

which is activated when the winding crown is extracted,

for synchronization of the clock with a reference signal.

In addition,

the adjustment of the hours

can be conveniently carried out

without interfering with the running of the minutes,

thanks to the device that moves only the relative hand directly,

in one hour jumps forward or backward.

A very useful function in the event of a time zone change

or transition from solar time to summer time,

also considering that

the time setting is automatically

linked to that of the date.

The caseback is made of titanium and the strap is made of black rubber.fake panerai

The Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Titanio is one of the most classic Panerai Submersible and

the new version offers a more contemporary interpretation,

enriched by the technical characteristics of the P.9010 caliber

and by fascinating aesthetic details which,

as always in Panerai watches, respond to specific features.

Titanium, from which the entire case is made,

is a material with excellent properties of resistance to shocks

and corrosion and light, therefore ideal for reducing the weight of a case of 47 mm in diameter.

The dial is black with all indications in white,

except for the small blue Panerai seconds hand at nine o’clock.

The legibility is therefore maximum in normal light conditions as in the dark,

also thanks to an intelligent use of the Super-LumiNova® used on indexes,

hands and graduated scale: at night – or in depth – the minute hand

and the hour stud.

12 on the bezel are tinged with a lively blue

instead of the classic fluorescent green of all the other indications,

so as to always offer a clear and not misunderstanding point of reference for calculating diving times.

Water resistance is guaranteed up to 30 bar (about 300 meters).

The large porthole protected by a sapphire crystal

on the back of the new Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days Automatic Titanio (PAM01305)

allows you to admire the automatic caliber P.9010, with a three-day power reserve

that is constantly powered

by a bidirectional oscillating weight .

The movement offers two further very useful functions:

the rocker stop mechanism for synchronizing the clock and the device for rapid time adjustment,

whose hand can be

moved forward or backward in jerks,

without interfering with the running. of the clock.

The watch is

supplied with a durable black rubber strap,

with a highly sporty look and functionality, with a trapezoidal titanium buckle.best replica watches

The new Luminor Submersible 1950 3 Days

Automatic is the first Panerai Submersible watch with a case of 42 mm in diameter and

is available in two versions: in steel (PAM00682),

water resistant to 300 meters (30 bar),

and in red gold ( PAM00684) and waterproof up to and 100 meters (10 bar).

Both versions are

powered by the P.9010 automatic caliber with three days of power reserve,

clearly visible through the sapphire crystal caseback,

and have the most classic Panerai Submersible design,

with the Luminor 1950 case equipped with a unidirectional rotating bezel

for the calculation of immersion times and protection device of the winding crown.

The dial is black, animated only by applied indexes,

date window at three o’clock and seconds counter at nine o’clock.

All the elements on the dial are white, perfectly legible

thanks to the stark contrast with the dark background and, in the steel model only,

the seconds hand is Panerai blue.

Readability is maximum in normal light conditions as well as in the dark,

also thanks to an intelligent use of the Super-LumiNova® used on indexes,

hands and graduated scale: at night – or in depth –

the minute hand and the boss at 12 o’clock on the bezel

they are tinged with

a lively blue

instead of the classic fluorescent green of all the other indications,

so as to always offer a clear and not misunderstanding point of reference for calculating diving times.

The red gold model has a distinctive element that

increases its strong character:

a matte black ceramic disk

is applied to the rotating bezel,

on which are the studded indexes which together with the graduated scale allow the calculation of immersion times.

The red gold used by Panerai is an alloy

that has a slightly higher percentage of copper than the standards of the material,

to give a particular intensity to the color,

and a percentage of platinum that helps reduce oxidation of the precious metal.

The P.9010 movement, self-winding with three days of autonomy,

offers two further very useful functions:

the stop mechanism of the balance wheel for synchronizing the clock

and the device for rapid time adjustment,

whose hand can be moved forwards or backwards in jerks,

without interfering with the running of the watch.

The black rubber strap, closed by a trapezoidal buckle made of the material of the case,

also has a very sporty functionality

and coordinates perfectly with the aesthetics of these new watches.
